>>读“小公主”有感(邹嘉裕)

In the summer holiday,I read a book named "A Little Prince". It was written by Francis Hodgson Burnett. It was a famous book in England when it had just been published. There is a beautiful story in this book:Ralph Crewe lives in India, with his little daughter Sara.He is a rich man, and when he brings Sara to Miss Minchin's school in London.Miss Minchin is very pleased. She likes girls with rich fathers, because it is good for her school. Mr Crewe's wife was dead' and Sara is his only child. But he must go to India to work, so he buys a lot of things to Sara: beautiful dresses, books, flowers, and a big beautiful doll.
Mr Crewe goes back to India to work, and Sara starts her new school life. Sara is not a beautiful, but kind, friendly girl. And Sara has a lot of stories. Or because she is rich, or because she is a kind girl, she soon makes friends in her school.
But on her eleventh birthday, she heard a piece of terrible news: her father was dead, and his friend brings all his money away.
Sara has no money, and she becomes a servant in Miss Minchin's school, to keep her life. At last, Mr Crewe's friend (who brings his money away) found Sara, and Sara becomes rich. During her survant-life, she knows her true friend who was.
It is a beautiful story, isn't it? Books are always like our life. And" A Little Princess" is one of the books that which tell you some important things. That is why I like this book too. Sara, the leading character in" A Little Princess" tells us: bravery is important. If you are brave, you can break through the difficult questions in your life.
The writer used her magical pen to down the lifelike people: Miss Minchin is greedy for money; Sara is kind; Becky and Ermengarde are true friends. There are the same people like them in the daily life.
"A little Princess" tells us this important thing: A friend in need is friend indeed. True friend must like that. It is difficult to find a true friend. Sara is lucky to have two understanding friend. True friends don"t need a person who is rich, clever, beautiful or handsome. A kind heart will just do. True friends should know each other. One is happy, and the other must be happy. One sad, and the other must be sad. And of course, true friends should help each other. For example, Ermengarde is still Sara"s friend when Sara is a servant. And in Miss Minchin's school, students do not make friends with servant. Do you think Ermengarde can be Sara's true friend? I think she is. Although Ermengarde is not beautiful or clever, she is Sara's true friend.
This is what I learn from "A Little Prince". This book is famous because it can touch one deeply in the heart. If you have time and want to read books, "A Little Prince" is a good choice.
