I read a book on my holiday .Its name is Robinson Crusoe. It depicts a man named Robinson who was caught in a storm. He was rinsed to an island by sea water. There is nobody on that island. He had to live on himself. He found food and built house on his own. He is a lucky man. He took some useful things on the ship such as ink, paper, dogs, seeds and guns. In the front of the house, he put some seeds into the ground. And he could have the food in autumn. He lived on the island for many years. He did not have some dangerous things until one day. One day, he found some footprints on the ground. He was very worried. He went to the other side on the island along with them. At last, he found some man was going to eat another man. Suddenly, the man quickly ran away. And they were running after him. When Robinson saw this, he used the gun to aim at the men and they killed them. He saved the man and took him to his home. He called him “Friday”. He taught Friday many things. For example, he taught him languages, hunting, cooking and so on. Soon he became Robinson’s assistant. After a few years, he and Friday went to Britain by ship.

      I like Robinson very much. I hope I can be as clever and brave as him. He knew many ways to live. For example, when the ship sank into the sea, he quickly jumped into the sea and swan to beach and held a big rock. This is a good way to prevent wave from rinsing him away. When he got to the island, he did not go to look for food first but bring the useful things from the ship. They can help him a lot in his life on the island. After he brought things, he began to build house. This explains Robinson is a clever man. He knew much knowledge to live. He knew where the best address to build the house was. He knew what can be eaten and what cannot be eaten. He knew how to make tools. He knew where we could find. When he was ill, he knew what the medicine was. He knew the weather of the island. He knew when to put the seeds into the ground and harvest the crops. He knew how to keep a diary, because these adventures are very valuable. He was very strong, because during the life of the island, he did not want to die on the island. He hoped to go back to his hometown. He made a raft. The raft was made of wood. But it spent him many years finishing it, because his tools are very easy. And the wood is very heavy. He must move it very slowly. I admire him very much. After I read the book, I know if something dangerous happens to us, we won’t be afraid of it. We must be faced with it and work out it. That is the best.

      This is a really great book so you should read it. I am sure you will love the story after you enjoy it.
