Food, spots, and friends are basic elements in vacations regarded by travelers. Each of them affects our vacations greatly. However, debates on deciding the most significant element continue. The roles of food, location, and friends depend on the feature of the area picked to travel to.

If you choose to visit a place where a lot of food is available, food would be the most important part of traveling. I went to the capital of Thailand which was a cultural place with a plenty of special local food including my favorite curry food last year. I could just smell the odor of curry on the street. In this case, I left all my friends behind and all the tour guides away to have a taste of that delicious food. When so much food is there in the spot, you cannot help to eat them and good food is important.

A satisfying location is more necessary when traveling to a place with a challenging condition. In another word, bad conditions make people focus on choose a good location. Why would people travel to locations with challenging or hard conditions? For fun, in simple words. Challenges are joyful. For instance, my father has been to Tibet where Mount Everest is located. Conditions in Tibet were extreme. The air pressure was so low that he could hardly run. Still, my father was ambitious about going to higher lands and finding even more challenging locations to camp. The hardships of low rate of oxygen, coldness and so on he met barely remind him of his kind friends or tasty food.

When having a vacation in a relaxing place, good friends around is essential. Friends sharing happiness would increase each person’s happiness in a relaxing spot. For example, you are on a beach enjoying the beautiful sunshine and the sea. You certainly want some of your best friends to be with you and enjoy together. You could have conversations with them and play on the soft sand. They would bring much greater happiness than relaxing alone or having big meals.

Different places chosen to visit result differently. Places with much food make good food important; places with challenging conditions make good locations important; places with relaxing spots make good friends important. Food, locations, and friends are all indeed important.
