In twenty years there will be fever cars in use than there are today

As the environmental problems are becoming increasingly serious, people are attempting to buy fewer cars and take more public transportations. I believe this would eventually lead to the reducing of cars in the near future for three particular reasons: the reducing of oil, environmental protections, and inventions of more advanced vehicles.
Oil for fueling cars would be much less in 20 years. There are increasing numbers of cars in the world with huge need of oil. As limited oil on Earth has all been exposed and put into use, it would be less and less. Since oil is the mayor energy source for cars, oil would became extremely unaffordable and less consumers would buy them but use public transportations or bikes instead. It is true there are electrical cars which have cheaper fuel but they are too expensive for a large number of costumers.
In 20 years, environmental issues would be so serious that individuals will have to concern giving up pollution makers such as cars. Cars now produce pollutions such as air pollution and noise pollution as well. As a matter of fact, both ecosystem and human beings couldn’t stand it. For instance, I now am living in an apartment that is built by a highway. Every night, I must close all windows but still hear the annoy noise of cars. Also, the smelly fume produced by cars outside the window has driven me crazy. I would certainly forbid cars if I am the mayor of the city. For the sake of ourselves, more of us must buy fewer cars.
The inventions of convenient and ecological vehicle would replace some cars in the 20 years. The fast development of technology has shocked us throughout the 20th century. Scientists have already built out models or even real products of unimaginable vehicles such as personal jetpacks, flying cars, personal submarines, etc. In the future even fancier products will be built. For example, I believe personal flying devices will be wide used in 20 years. It will be safe, fast and taking water as energy. You may ask, “Why don’t we just drive water-powered cars?” I would say, “I prefer flying.” And these advanced technologies would reduce the number of cars in the future.
Finally, I totally agree that fewer cars will be on the streets in 20 years because of the lacking oil, problems of environment and the replacement of more advanced transportations.
