Animal friends 
Today more and more persons like keeping pets in that they think pets are helpful, friendly, and cute. In some communities, you can often see many people wander around along with a pet dog which wears beautiful clothes; owing to human love, most of pet dogs which live in the city can eat dog food and suck milk. I used to keep a black cat named "tiger" when I was six years old, I regarded it as my friend. At that time, I could feed some little fish or milk to it, sometimes take a shower for it. On account of my care, the cat became fatter and more pretty. We liked playing with my cat pet as well as it did every day. Keeping pets is not an easy job, because it takes much time and costs a lot of money. For example, to keep a dog, you should feed it and clean it once a week. If you have a gold fish, you must change the water quite often in case of death. 
It is a hard work for us to keep pets, but their owners can benefit from the pets, for example, police dogs can help policemen easily capture the criminals; guide dogs can help the blind cross the road. What's more, pets can let us live happily and have the old no longer feel lonely, therefore, the pets are our friends! In order to protect the animals, we should kindly treat the pets, and look them as the family members.
