A letter for Ben 
Dear Ben, Guangzhou City locates in the South China, what's more, it's a beautiful city with a long history. It is well known that the pearl river passes through the city, and causes Guangzhou city thriving. As a whole, Guangzhou is modern too, here we can find many modern buildings in Guangzhou, but the city is very crowded for more than 12 million residents. 
Guangzhou is well known as the "Flower City" where we can see many kinds of beautiful and green trees everywhere such as streets, parks etc. . The flowers in Guangzhou are very beautiful and colorful too. We can find many kinds of flowers such as lilies, roses, and tulips in Yuexiu Park. The weather in Guangzhou is comfortable for living, the weather is warm in comparison with North China in winter. There are many places of interest in Guangzhou such as Baiyun Mountain, the Yuexiu Park, Guangzhou Tower. Especially, as a national "5A" level scenic sport, Bauyun mountain is 382m height, and belongs one of eight scenic sports of Guangzhou City. There are many shopping places in Guangzhou, such as famous Beijing Road, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street. 
Guangzhou is also famous for food in which you can eat sea food, meat, or dim-sum, and they are very delicious. One of famous dishes is named "Sliced and boiled Chicken", and most of people like it. What a beautiful place Guangzhou City is. I think you must visit the city and enjoy the natural landscape.
