Computer and I

My father is an IT engineer. So when I was just a little baby, I always took away the mouse from my father’s hand with curiosity. One day when I was a five-year-old girl, my mother taught me to draw a beautiful picture by mouse. There was a white wooden house, a golden sun and some lovely flowers in the picture. I was so exciting at that time since I thought the computer was a magician.

From then on, the computer became a good friend of me. I often use it to draw pictures, play gobang, play fashion games and play cooking games. Sometime I watch English VCDs, enjoy songs or movies on it, and also I can make E-cards for my classmates, talk with my friends on QQ. If I go to visit my grandparents for a few days in holiday time, I will feel bored without this good friend.

Once our Chinese teacher required us to collect data of an ancient poet named Wang Mian（王冕）after class. I couldn’t find any relative data on my bookshelves. So my mother taught me how to use the computer to search and choose the useful information through the Internet. The next day, I was the only one in my class who could answer the teacher’s question about Wang Mian. Therefore the computer plays another more important role in my life, my best teacher outside class.

Every time before I plan to visit a antiquity, such as Chen-Jia- Ci（陈家祠）or Bao-Mo-Yuan（宝墨园）, I always collect the background data on the computer. So I can easily understand what the guides say. Once I learned a Three Kingdoms story on the Chinese lesson. I searched a lot of other Three Kingdoms stories on the computer after class. It was helpful for me to understand and memorize the lessons better. Sometimes the teacher asks us to make some topical posters. Of course I search the relative information through the Internet first. Because I know it can help me to finish a wonderful work.

Now computer is a daily necessity of me, as a good teacher and a best friend. While helping me to grow up, it never stops advancing itself. In a book it says, the computer is becoming brighter and brighter. In the future, perhaps a computer can think and feel just like a man. So I have to study harder and harder to progress along with it. I would like to create a brighter future together with my good teacher and best friend.
