Ms. Ma Xuelei impressed me most is her clever way of leading in the reading topic: using wonderful video clips as well as well-chosen questions to arouse the students’ interest in the reading passage and to provide the students with background information about Tom & Jerry. Besides, Ms. Ma gave feedback in time to praise the girl who came up with the correct answer to the last question in lead-in, which in my eyes is a good way to help the students experience a sense of achievement. It was a pity that time was not adequate for more students to give a productive output ---give a brief description to a certain cartoon in class to let the other groups to guess the name of it.
