话题三:旅游 travel journal 

一、 教材分析

本单元主要围绕旅行日记展开,学生需掌握与旅行相关的语言知识,比如journal, transport, prefer, disadvantagebe fond of, make up one’s mind, give in等词汇及短语的用法。同时也使学生对旅游产生浓厚的兴趣,了解世界各地的文化,增强对祖国河山的热爱。

二、学情分析

中大附中高一新生,学习兴趣和积极性比较浓厚,个别学生词汇量丰富,但基础不扎实,在口语表达上有想法但难以成句。学习习惯和行为还在养成中。

    1. 英语素养目标培养

1.语言能力目标:

a.学生能够在课堂所创设的交际情境中读懂图片、文字所组成的多模态语篇,并在多模态语篇提供的语境中理解和运用词块,连词成句,连句成篇。

b.学生能够通过口语和书面语形式,理解意义、传递信息和观点,表达个人情感和态度

2.文化品格目标:

学生能够在课堂创设的情境中,了解世界各地的文化风土人情。

3.思维品质目标:

学生能够在主题语境的帮助下理清词块组句、句子排序之间的逻辑关系,并提炼词块、句子信息,整合成连贯的语篇。

4.学习能力目标:

a.学生能够独立思考、深入挖掘,培养个人创新思维、解决问题的能力。

b.学生能够积极进行同伴讨论、小组合作,锻炼交际能力。

四、教学重点

   根据图片和词块提示,组成句子,并合理运用词块。

五、教学难点

   创造性地给朋友安排一个旅行地图。

Aim of this class 

Tell the Ss what we’re going to do in this class . 

Read and review

One volunteer leads the Ss to read the words and phrases together. 


To make the Ss know the learning objectives in this class and activate their knowledge about the vocabulary they have learnt about travelling.

Task 1 Lead in 

Ask the Ss to look at my travel map and find some travel information.

 Observe my travel map

Look at the picture and guess the topic.

To bring in the topic and arouse the Ss’ interest.

Task 2 Introduce Day 1

Ask the Ss to put the word chunks into order and arrange the sentences in a correct order.


 Get to know Day1 Homestay

1.Put the word chunks into order. 

2.Arrange the sentences in a correct order.

1. To review words in chunks.

2. To cultivate the Ss’ logical thinking ability.  

  

Task 3 finish Day 2-4

1.Ask the Ss to finish the sentences about the rest journey and find out what happened to me.


Find out what happened to us

Work with pairs to finish the sentences with the hints of words and pictures.


1.To review words with sentences.

2.To cultivate the Ss’ comprehension ability of pictures, words and sentences and their summary ability.


 

Task 4 arrange a travel map

1. Ask the Ss to arrange a travel map for their friends.

2.Assess their group work.

Make their own travel map

Work in groups and design their own travel map.

1.To review words in text.

2.To cultivate the Ss’ ability of rewriting, discourse integration and team work spirit.

3. To inspire them to appreciate the beauty of our country.
