首先轻松地跟大家开了个小玩笑，直接用问题来引导学生有的放矢地阅读。

1.    What did the black man suffer from?

2.    Did he try to fight against it?

3.    In which way did he fight against it?

接着用一段短视频来让学生能够听说同步进行，从而有效，正确地地回答了以上问题。

学生用几分钟观看了News 1, 齐声朗读短文，期间经常鼓励性地启发，赞扬学生。

师生互动，课堂气氛愉快。
