香港的教育与我们这里的教育还是有不同的。我们走进他们的课堂发现:
一. 科目的开设与我们大不一样,内容非常广泛和实用。
如他们开设了经济,就业指导等课程。
二.教材编得非常有特点、贴近生活,具有强烈的时代感。彩色图片非常吸引学生, 能激发学生的兴趣.
三. 教学思想先进, 他们认为学生学多少比老师教多少更重要,并在课堂教学中体现了出来. 充分挖掘学生的闪光点,他们认为:Every student can shine!
四. 授课教师的英语水平很高,学生听和阅读的能力非常强,但是,写的能力较欠缺.
五. 英语课堂教学方式与我们差别巨大,相当于内地的语文课教学。
3月31日上午听了两节英语课,感觉与大陆的英语教学区别很大。对他们课堂教学的总印象是教学目标非常明确。教学以内容为主,语法和词汇教学放在次要位置。强调学生的学,在课堂上尽量展示学生的作品,充分给学生改正错误的机会.
六. 语法教学非常不重视,学生的语法较薄弱.

第一节课的主题为” Beijing 2008 Olympic Games”
这节的容量非常大,在60分钟的时间内,几乎涉及了与奥运相关的知识, 教学程序如下:
1. The teacher asked some questions about the Olympic Games and then get the students to finish the following some exercises
It is held every__________years. The first Olympic Games was held in___________in Greece. There was no Olypic Games in both 1940 and 1944 because of _________________
2.Then talk about the Olympic rings.\
3.Talk about the Olympic Emblem.
The teacher tells the stories of some Olympic Emblems first and ask the students what the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games emblem means?
4.Learn about the official mascots of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
5.Talk about the theme slogan and the theme song of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games
6.Learn the names of the main sports in the games.
从以上可以看出,香港的英语教学类似大陆的语文教学。因为教师和学生都有较好的英语基础。
第二节课的主要内容为:How to write Japanese poem____Haiku?
主要程序如下:
1.Show two poems and get the students to answer some questions about Haiku.
In this way the students can learn the characteristics of Haiku.
2.Show some examples and get the students to tell whether they are Kaiku or not.
3.Get the students to try writing some Haikus themselves and then ask some students to show their writing on the screen. And then get the other students to say if they are correct.
4.Get the students to summarize the main contents learned in the period.
