Wong Kar-wai’s Blossoms Shanghai TV show
Hong Kong film director Wong Kar-wai’s first television series, Blossoms Shanghai, will begin airing on December 27.
The 30-episode period drama – which has been six years in the making – is adapted from a 2012 novel of the same name by Jin Yucheng, which won the 9th Mao Dun Literature Prize in 2015 and is written in Shanghainese.

Sound familiar? Did you know that we Americans have about three times the amount of space we did 50 years ago? Three times. So you'd think, with all this extra space, we'd have plenty of room for all our stuff. Nope.
你们也干过差不多的事儿吧？说起来你们知不知道，跟50年前的美国人相比，我们有了3倍多的空间？整整三倍啊！那你可能会说，既然空间更多了，那肯定够我们放各种东西了，非也非也。
